Convert Coordinates is a free online application for working with geographical coordinates. Our tool allows you to convert coordinates to one of the most popular formats: Decimal Degrees (DD), Degree Minutes Seconds (DMS), Degree Decimal Minutes (DDM), GeoRef, USNG, MGRS. The conversion result is displayed in the Position field in Parse Coordinates window.
You can also parse inputted text to get geo data. The resulting latitude and longitude will be displayed in the corresponding fields in Convert Coordinates window.

How to convert coordinates to other formats using Convert Coordinates

  • To convert coordinates, choose Convert Coordinates mode on the work mode panel.
  • Enter latitude and longitude in the appropriate Latitude and Longitude fields.
  • Select the desired format.
  • Click the Convert button, and the result appears in the Converted Coordinates card in the Position field.
  • To parse the data, choose Parse Text mode on the work mode panel.
  • Insert your string into Position filed in Parse Coordinates card.
  • Click the Parse button, and the result will be displayed in the Converted Coordinates card in the appropriate fields.

  1. How can I convert my coordinates to different formats?

    First, select the "Convert Coordinates" mode of operation. Then enter latitude and longitude in the corresponding fields in the "Convert Coordinates" section. Next, select the desired format to which your coordinates will be converted. Then just click "Convert" and wait for the conversion result. When the coordinates are converted, the result will be displayed in the "Converted Coordinates" section.
  2. How can I get coordinates from a string?

    First, select the "Parse Text" operating mode. Next, enter a string in the "Position" field. Then click the "Parse" button and wait for the process to complete. The coordinates are displayed in the Parsed Position window.
  3. Can I see the converted coordinates on the map?

    Yes, you can! After receiving the result, the "Open Map" button will appear. If you click on this button, a map with your coordinates will open.
  4. Do I need to specify the expected format for the analysis of coordinates?

    There is no need. Our application will detect the format automatically.
  5. 📁 What formats are supported?
